AD, DNS, and Configure DC(Domain Controller)
As I mention earlier from our previous article that we will going together and really do it step by step wiht our server configuration. in this tutorial artile I will show you how can you install AD (Active Directory), DNS (Domain Name System), and How to configure your Domain Controller.
But before we are going to our implement part I just wan to give you some description about our Technical word first. here are some of the importance keyword that you should know and understand about it. let's we begin and read the description together.
As I mention earlier from our previous article that we will going together and really do it step by step wiht our server configuration. in this tutorial artile I will show you how can you install AD (Active Directory), DNS (Domain Name System), and How to configure your Domain Controller.
Active Directory
Active Directory (AD) is a
catalog benefit that Microsoft created for Windows space systems and
is incorporated in many Windows Server working frameworks as a set of
techniques and administrations.
Domain name System
Domain name System (DNS) is
the way that Internet area names are spotted and interpreted into
Internet Protocol addresses. A space name is a serious and simple
to-recollect "handle" for an Internet address.
Domain Controller
Microsoft Servers, a Domain
controller (DC) is a server that reacts to security confirmation
appeals (logging in, checking consents, and so on.) inside the
Windows Server area.
1.Go to Server Manager and Add
Roles and feature
2. Go Next
3. Select Role-Based or Feature-based installation and click Next
4. Select your Server and Click Next

5. Choose Active Directory Domain Service
6. Add Features and click next
7. We don't need other features so just feel free and click next
8. Click Next and confirm installation
9. Click on Restart the destination server automatically if required , mean if the server need to restart it will automatically restart by it self.
10. Installation progressing
In this process you to wait for a while according to your performance of your Server.
11. Finish and now you can promote you Server to Domain Controller by click on the Promote this to a domain controller.
12. Select on Add a new forest and pacify you domain name.
13. Check on Domain Name System (DNS) server allow you to install DNS in the same time when you are promoting the Server to domain controller. And give the password to you domain controller it will use if you want to remove your domain controller.
14. Click next
15. Will show you NetBIOS Name that assigned to the domain.You also can change it like what you want.
16. The Active Directory Domain Services Configure location I recommend to you to use the default directory like below.
17. Click next
18. Then now Install
19. After finish the installation you server may need to restart. And after restart go to configure the DNS. in the next part I will show you how can you configuration DNS Server I hope you will continue your lesson.
