Install MSSQL Cluster Failover in MS Windows Server 2012R2 part 3

In the previous article I've shown you about how can you in stall Active Directory Services Configuration Wizard already and after your Server have restart now it is the step DNS Installation. here in this article will show you how can you configure DNS Server step by step and it will make you easy to understand and easy to follow as well. 

1. Configure DNS Server for Domain Controllergo to Server Manager → Tools → DNS 

It have to in DNS Forward Lookup Zones and Reverse Lookup Zone like below.

2. We are going to configure the Reverse Lookup Zone

right click on Reverse Lookup Zone and click New Zone..

22. Click Next

23. Select a Primary zone and Checked Store the zone in Active Directory and Click Next.

24. Select on To all DNS Server running on domain controller

25. Use IPv4 for our Reverse Lookup Zone

26. Type your Network ID for domain

27. Select Allow only secure dynamic update

 

28. Then finish

29. After configure the Reverse Lookup zone you need to create the pointer for you computer name.

 30. Create new pointer by right click and select the New Pointer (PTR)

 31. Specify your IP of Server and Host name like below

32. Then you check you computer like below
