Configure and Prepare the NODE for cluster
For Every node want to join the cluster must :
- at least have two network cart
- in the same domain
- have a centralize storage
and here how we configure the network
PUB is a network use to connect to DC and go to outside for client will access through this network. HB is a Heart Beet network use for Cluster negotiate each other. Cluster really need this network to tell to the other node that if it is down so the it can transfer the service to the other node immediately.
And it have some difference configuration for the HB need work. for the HB network interface just need only the ip address for communicate with the other node, the necessarily service that it doesn't need is just unchecked it. For the IP Vernon just need only IPv4 Jut follow the below step :
Right Click and Property chose Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) and then click on properties
Configure the appropriate IP Address for the HB network interface card like our sample I chose 10.10.10.11/24 for the node1 and 10.10.10.12 for the node 2.
To go to farther configuration you go to Advance and tab DNS unchecked the Register This connection 's address in DNS and go to WINS
In this tab Unchecked the Enable LMHOSTS Lookup
select Disable NetBIOS over TCP?IP
User Account Control (UAC) notifies you before changes are made to your computer that require administrator-level permission. The default UAC setting notifies you when programs try to make changes to your computer, but you can change how often UAC notifies you.
Change the User account Control setting for the cluster that will easy communicate with each other like below.
Turn of the Firewall for cluster service.
