Running and Starting FTP Service on Windows Vista, 7 , and 8

First of all I would like to introduce to all of you about FTP (File Transfer protocol), let’s make it easy to understand, example if you want to send file to your partner across the internet will you send it on the E-mail that right but remember this on the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) not allow a big data to transfer so if you have 20Mkb of the file How can you transfer this to your friends? The goodchoice is you need the ftp. That is good, but another problem is FTP will need the server so that is normal. but in this article we going to do it more than that we will configure this on the Windows 7 and perform it as FTP Server so just follow the step below you will be able to get it How to Start FTP Server on Windows Vista, 7, 8. 
1.      Go to control panel -> Programs and Feature -> Turn Windows Features On or Off
2.       Select on Internet Information Service and Check on FTP Server and make  sure that you are check it all then press ok.


An after this you need to start the Service above
  1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, click System and Maintenance and then click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Services, right-click Microsoft FTP Publishing Service and then select Start from the menu.
