Configure SSH for ASA Cisco Firewall



What is SSH ( Secure Shell ) ?
Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic system convention for secure information correspondence, remote order line login, remote summon execution, and other secure system benefits between two organized machines.

1.       Going to create a crypto key of 1024 size length.

2.       Set a User name and password
3.       Set the password that allow to use the ssh client to remote
4.       Set the timeout for the ssh

Login from client
Go to download the putty here
and run it.


Specify the ip address of the ASA and click on Open


Click on yes and type user name and password for login


And now you are able to login to your ASA through the SSH.
